Preparing for the art tour and a preview was just manic! Amazing how creative one gets when a deadline looms and the ideas buzzing in one's head just have to materialise. Painting non stop really does have its creative advantages but the down side is that one becomes a slob (temporarily of course!) and naturally that is when that unexpected visitor will definitely call and find you out and will leave feeling very smug, not believing for a second that the state of your domestic space is unusual! Anyway, it was all worth while and a number of pieces have sold during the art tour, making space for future work soon to be unleashed because the creative buzz is still bubbling and shouting for release! Sea scapes seem to be my favourite subject at the moment but with landscapes of the Cheviots and Simonside running a close second, especially with brewing storm skies.

June thoughts

it's boring and rainy so I am not inspired to paint, just to eat chocolate. Please send donations dark chocolate preferred 70% cocoa if you don't mind. Lindt is fine.
