So this is very brief. I've got some great students in my watercolour classes. Two of them have received first prize in two local shows - Well done Irene and John!<br /><br /><br />Back in June, I was featured in the Newcastle Journal in a double page spread entitled 'Home With History Inspires Pam's Art.' This brought lots of extra visitors to the Summer Art Tour.<br /><br />More recently in the Northumberland Gazette, there was a short article about one of my paintings which was bought by a father to send to his son in New Zealand.<br /><br />I have now produced some greetings cards, which will be featured on my website very soon. Amazing how creative one gets when a deadline looms and the ideas buzzing in one's head just have to materialise. Painting non stop really does have its creative advantages but the down side is that one becomes a slob (temporarily of course!) and naturally that is when that unexpected visitor will definitely call and find you out and will leave feeling very smug, not believing for a second that the state of your domestic space is unusual! Anyway, it was all worth while and a number of pieces have sold during the art tour, making space for future work soon to be unleashed because the creative buzz is still bubbling and shouting for release!
